Exploring volume, voids and tension, this small sculpture can be placed in several positions. Part of a series of ‘weightless’ objects bound with thread, I made this is an experimental study for a potentially larger work. It has a beautifully smooth surface that contrasts intensely with the texture of the brightly coloured thread.
